All Year 2 students have the opportunity to be a leader in the ELC. Throughout the year, boys will take on the responsibility and rotate through the following leadership roles: Playground Leaders, Charity Leaders, and Sustainability/Green Team Leaders.
The Hutchins School Senior Dance Troupe competed in the Regional heats for Dance Life Unite on the weekend and were successful in qualifying for Nationals after winning both their Lyrical and Musical Theatre Sections.

Our Prefects have worked hard to raise awareness of violence against women. Our work with White Ribbon Australia to stop violence against women has seen students take an active role in awareness raising and advocacy.
Our ELC Grandparents’ Day is one of our favourite events for the year. On Friday over 350 grandparents, parents, carers and special friends filled the auditorium for a concert followed by morning tea and a visit to the ELC classrooms and Book Fair.
Outstanding result at the War Memorial Oval today with our cricketers claiming the title for the first time in 8 years.
As part of our school’s stand against bullying, we registered as an official National Day of Action school where schools across Australia stand united against this important societal issue.
Congratulations to the Middle and Senior School students who participated in the SSATIS Swimming Carnival held at the Aquatic Centre on Wednesday.
